First Tee and COVID-19

Categories: Blog, News

Dear First Tee Greater New Orleans Family & Friends:

By recommendation from the Governor’s office, public health officials, and our local school systems, ALL First Tee Greater New Orleans PROGRAMMING HAS BEEN SUSPENDED effective tomorrow, Saturday, March 14th through Sunday, April 12th. During this programming hiatus we will meet as a staff and discuss our next steps with the intention of resuming programming on Monday, April 13th. We will continue to update all stakeholders periodically via email, social media channels and our website at firstteenola.org.

Also, we ask you to continue following the COVID-19/coronavirus guidelines as shared by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that are posted on their website: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/index.html. These include monitoring your family’s health for flu-like symptoms and reaching out to your local health provider if these symptoms occur.

On behalf of our Board of Directors and staff we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, we believe this approach best maintains the safety and well being of our participants, parents, coaches and volunteers during this time. As mentioned in our earlier correspondence, any family who would like a refund, please email us at customerservice@thefirstteenola.org. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I or a member of our staff will follow-up with you as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,

Chip Patterson, Executive Director

First Tee Greater New Orleans
